COM. LING.- Compuesto de osin 'pozo' 'sima en el agua' y del sufijo de lugar -aga. En Ezquiaga, de la cendea de Iza, se documenta en el año 1762 el término que «antiguamente se llamaba Osinondoa que quiere decir junto al pozo» [JIMENO JURÍO, J.M. OV-6, p. 183]. DESCR.- Fuente actualmente conocida bajo la denominación de OSINGARAI.

COM. LING.- Compuesto de osin 'pozo' 'sima en el agua' y de garai 'alto'. DESCR.- Terreno situado junto a la margen derecha del río EZKURRA, después de pasar la muga de Elgorriaga a Doneztebe. En dicho lugar hay una fuente que lleva el mismo nombre. Es una zona húmeda en la que fácilmente se forman charcas de agua.
