The journal Euskera was the predecessor of Euskera Ikerketa Aldizkaria. Euskera was the official publication of Euskaltzaindia from 1920 to 2022.
From 2023, however, the old Euskera was split into two distinct publications of different kinds: on the one hand, the journal Euskera Ikerketa Aldizkaria, and on the other the Euskaltzaindia newsletter. Euskera Ikerketa Aldizkaria includes original research papers, book reviews and the like in the Academy's fields of work, and is published on paper and in electronic form. It is indexed and promotes scientific and academic research by the Academy and on Basque.
The Euskaltzaindia newsletter reports on the academic life of the organisation.
