The field of work of the Mintzola project is essentially oral practice in Basque, so it studies everyday language in Basque and works to transfer and develop this knowledge. This research work offers answers to questions and concerns related to everyday language.
On the one hand, initial Mintzola research clarifies the features of everyday language and determines the position of the Basque community in this area. On the other, it conducts applied research, i.e. creating and designing tools with an impact on education, the media and other spheres.
Mintzola has also taken on a special responsibility for presenting and offering the conclusions of this research to those interested and agents in the community. Finally, in the context of cooperation between institutions, it organises initiatives aimed at enriching oral expression in Basque, aimed primarily at young people.
