Since it was set up in 2022, the aims of the project are to map out the vision of the future of Basque and align the main long-term strategies associated with this. This calls for a good understanding of the aspects required for a vision of the future, i.e. to properly meet the demands of this vision exercise.
Creating an approach for the future or a proper vision exercise involves bringing together and pooling different exercises. It could be described as creation through the convergence of different exercises.
- Firstly, the features and processes of the work done in the past need to be interiorised. All these elements of the past must be put together in a critical combination and considered as starting points for a constructive path.
- Secondly, it is a question of establishing a comprehensive but also synthetic view of the current situation. This is in fact the habitual work of the Promotion Commission.
- And thirdly, the directions of the responsible bodies need to be established or identified.
